Who we are

Celevee ("we", "us") operates celevee.com and the short link domain celev.ee. For anything in this policy you can reach us at support@celevee.com.

Information we collect

• Host account information. Your email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), display name, and — if you sign in with Google — the basic profile details Google returns.
• Event content. Event title, date, time, time zone, location, description, registry links, host messages, and any photos or video you upload or generate.
• Guest information supplied by hosts. Guest names and, where the host provides them, email addresses and phone numbers.
• Guest submissions. RSVP status, party size, notes to the host, contact details a guest enters themselves, notification preferences, and photos a guest adds to a shared album.
• Delivery and engagement data. Whether an invitation email was delivered, bounced, opened, or had a link clicked, and unsubscribe or opt-out events.
• Technical data. Basic log data such as IP address and browser type, used for security, abuse prevention, and rate limiting on sign-in.

Hosts and guest data

When a host adds guests, the host decides who is contacted and is responsible for having permission to contact them. Celevee processes that information to deliver the invitation and collect RSVPs on the host's behalf. Guests can unsubscribe from a host's emails at any time using the link in the footer of every invitation email, or adjust which notifications they receive from the invitation page.

How we use information

• To create, display and deliver invitations and collect RSVPs.
• To send transactional email such as invitations, event updates and account emails.
• To show hosts delivery and engagement information for their own event.
• To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse and spam.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use guest data for advertising.

AI features

When you use Celevee's AI design or import features, the prompt text and any image or document you upload for that purpose are sent to our AI providers to generate artwork, suggested wording, or extracted event details. Do not upload material you are not comfortable sharing for that purpose. Generated artwork is stored with your event.

Email open and click tracking

Invitation and notification emails include a small tracking pixel and wrapped links so hosts can see whether a message was opened and whether the RSVP or calendar link was clicked. Recipients who unsubscribe are not sent further email for that event.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser storage that are necessary for the product to work: keeping you signed in, remembering an in-progress invitation draft on your device for up to 7 days, and remembering a guest's RSVP link so their preferences persist. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Sharing and service providers

We share information only with the providers needed to run Celevee: our hosting, database and authentication platform, our transactional email provider (sending from notify.celevee.com), our AI providers for the features described above, and address lookup for the location field. Each processes data on our instructions.

Retention and deletion

Event data is kept while your account is active. Deleting an event removes it and its guest list, RSVPs and messages. Draft invitations that were never saved to an account live only in your browser and expire after 7 days. To delete your account and associated data, email support@celevee.com from your account address and we will action it.

Your choices

You can access and update your account details in Account settings, remove guests or events at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your personal information by emailing us. Guests can unsubscribe or turn off individual notification types from any invitation email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA; we honour those requests through the same support address.

Children

Celevee is intended for adults. Accounts are not for children under 13, and hosts should not add a child's personal contact details to a guest list without a parent's permission.

Changes and contact
